Local WalMart Workers Need Your Support!
Right now, thousands of Wal-Mart workers across the country - including some workers right here in Colorado - are joining together to form a Union and negotiate for better benefits, higher wages, and more opportunity for a better future.On Wednesday, June 3rd, at 9:00 AM, Wal-Mart Workers for Change invites you to join community & labor leaders, political allies, and Wal-Mart workers in standing up for the right to organize for better wages and working conditions at Wal-Mart. We're assembling at O'Kane Park in Lakewood (near the corner of Teller St & W 1st Ave). We'll be inviting the press to come listen to some powerful stories and hear us make some noise, so please come on out and bring friends, family, and coworkers - the more, the merrier!
